The finale picks up immediately where Episode 5 ends, with Karli Morgenthau (Erin Kellyman) and the Flag Smashers infiltrating the headquarters of the Global Repatriation Council in an attempt to stop a vote that secure borders once again in a post-Blip world. It’s here at GRC HQ that Bucky Barnes (Stan) sneaks past a security checkpoint in order to scope the scene out.He’s quickly stopped by a nameless bystander. In a matter of seconds, the bystander rips their face off and we find out it’s really Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) in disguise, using the same exact face-cloaking technology Black Widow (Johansson) herself used during the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

After the fantastic WandaVision, we now have The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that works better as a ‘larger than life’ story than it does as something relatable.
In a moving moment at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers hands over the mantle of Captain America to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) by giving away his shield. When Wilson tries it on for the first time, Rogers asks him how it feels, and he replies, “Like it’s someone else’s.”

Tonight saw the launch of the
Falcon And The Winter Soldier finale on Disney+, but while the episode brought the six-episode miniseries to an end, whatâs particularly interesting about what happens from a Marvel Cinematic Universe standpoint is where it leaves all of the characters for the future. A lot goes down in the span of 45 minutes, and heroes and villains like Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter, John Walker, and Helmut Zemo are left facing interesting prospects and consequences from their respective positions.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 6 further pushes Karli into villainous territory as she discusses the hostage plan with her Flag Smasher buddies. The original plan was to only use them as a bargaining chip to negotiate and put an end to the Patch Act. But Karli is now showing a bloodier streak. She s ready to kill the GRC officials and herself die for the cause if it comes to that Karli has gone full martyr. This isn t sitting well with the rest of the Flag Smashers, but they reluctantly agree to go along with that.
