DUBAI, 3 hours, 53 minutes ago Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TikTok to create and launch the Dubai Chamber – TikTok Academy. It will run a four-week educational programme that will help 1,000 startups and SMEs validate and grow their businesses using the content creation platform, a WAM report said. Under the terms of the two-year agreement, participants will get access to a dedicated online educational portal that will offer training on digital marketing and advise businesses on how to get started on TikTok, creative content, marketing campaign creation and optimisation. These modules will be accompanied by dedicated business canvasing sessions for startup ideas.

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi will now be uniquely showcased on TikTok following a new partnership between the emirate’s culture regulator and the social media giant.
The Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced its partnership with TikTok, including the launch of the Visit Abu Dhabi channel @inabudhabi on TikTok. It has also encouraged TikTok creators to mention Abu Dhabi in their clips using the channel handle.
Through the collaboration, the DCT Abu Dhabi aims to engage content creators, and depict the emirate in a creative, authentic manner. In doing so, it hopes to reach audiences around the world, and encourage them to include Abu Dhabi as part of their future travel plans.
