Tonight we have new information that hits home for many people in the east bay. Weve learned the fire has destroyed the berkley family camp. Thats seven miles from the entrance to yosemite. Nbcs Monte Francis has spent the weekend on the front lines of the fire. And it doesnt seem to be slowing down at this point. Reporter well, diane, thats right. Several camps are threatened by this fire. Were told that one has been destroyed. That is the berkley tawall me camp. It has been owned and operated since 1922.
