EDWARDSVILLE A Troy woman faces drug- and weapons-related charges after a Tuesday incident.
Alexandra R. Stacey, 27, of Troy, was charged June 9 with unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony; unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony.
The case was presented by the Glen Carbon Police Department.
According to court documents, on June 8 Stacey allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen Taurus 740 Slim .40 caliber handgun, without a Firearm Owners Identification Card and less than five grams of methamphetamine.

EDWARDSVILLE A Venice man was charged with felony weapon and drug violations Friday.
Frank E. Brown, 24, of Venice, was charged May 14 with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, both Class 3 felonies.
The case was presented by the Venice Police Department.
According to court documents, on May 13 Brown allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, and a Taurus 9 mm handgun.
Brown has a prior conviction for possession with intent to deliver out of Madison County in 2019, making him ineligible to possess weapons.
East Alton man charged in auto theft

EDWARDSVILLE An East Alton man was charged related to the theft of an auto, among a number of felony charges filed Tuesday by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Jacob L. Bruntjen, 33, of East Alton, was charged with offenses relating to motor vehicles, a Class 2 felony.
The case was presented by the Metro East Auto Theft Task Force.
According to court documents, on May 10 Bruntjen allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen 1993 Toyota Tacoma.
Bail was set at $50,000.

EDWARDSVILLE A Wood River man faces a felony weapons charge after being found in possession of a blackjack.
Kinny L. Pauley, also known as Kenneth Pauley and Kenny Pauley, 33, of Wood River, was charged May 4 with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the South Roxana Police Department.
According to court documents, on April 25 Pauley, who has a prior conviction for attempt residential burglary out of Madison County in 2011, allegedly was found to be in possession of a blackjack.
Bail was set at $25,000.
