EDWARDSVILLE — An East Alton man was charged related to the theft of an auto, among a number of felony charges filed Tuesday by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Jacob L. Bruntjen, 33, of East Alton, was charged with offenses relating to motor vehicles, a Class 2 felony.
The case was presented by the Metro East Auto Theft Task Force.
According to court documents, on May 10 Bruntjen allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen 1993 Toyota Tacoma.
Bail was set at $50,000.
