Tom Harold sadly passed away on Sunday HEARTFELT tributes have been paid to a former Boys Brigade Captain who dedicated more than 60 years of his life to helping young people in Glasgow. Tom Harold sadly passed away on Sunday at the age of 71 after suffering from a stroke - just one month after his 50th anniversary as an officer. The former captain is described to have dedicated his life to the role while always serving and giving to others . Colin Harkins, who is the current Captain of the Boys Brigade, said: Over the last 50 years, Tom has guided and supported countless young people across Pollok and its surroundings to realise their potential.
