Nader Ahmadirad pulled up to a home in Coquitlam, B.C., with a food delivery late one night in January when his car was suddenly surrounded by four men with guns.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers in Coquitlam are investigating after an early morning shooting injured one person.
In a release, the RCMP said officers were called just after 1 am on January 10 for reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of Kingston Street.
Upon arrival, officers found one man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
According to the release, multiple suspects were seen fleeing the area in a vehicle. Not long after, officers found a car on fire in the 3500 block of Gislason Avenue, about a kilometre and a half away.
