Tuesday right through 6 00 a. M. On wednesday as we are tracking a period of light snow. You can see the area of low pressure out to the north out across the northern great lakes and that trailing cold front that will work its way eastward as we get into tuesday afternoon really tuesday night and throughout the day on wednesday. So well talk about what we can expect. Its cloudy for most of us on tuesday for the majority of the day but well tracking light snow fall in our far northwestern suburbs and Lehigh Valley as we get into tomorrow afternoon. The steadiest of that snowfall arrives 11 00 p. M. Tomorrow night right through 7 00 a. M. On wednesday so it will be slow going for the morning commute as we get into the middle half of our work week. Well talk more about that coming up with the full and exclusive accuweather forecast. Rest of us is cause for concern for people who live along this stretch of the Delaware River but many neighbors here tell us as long as the nearby canal doesnt flood, they feel relatively safe. You can get a pinch point up in yardley where the yardley inn is. Floods there and down here and sort of creates an island so the last time it happened i think it was 06 im not sure but we were mandatory evacuated. Reporter so far the canal has not flooded and flooding from the river has been relatively minor. The problem that has developed here is quite simply an ice jam and that forces the current to accumulate in isolated areas. So far the worst of it is here at the intersection of river road and ferry road in lower makefield and so local officials are urging commuters to avoid the area. At this time the river continues to be ice dammed along the calhoun street bridge zero the river is unpredictable. The water could still rise a little bit or even some ice flows could come up on the red way.

Student got the call. Unaudible. Reporter she rushed to her parents home in the 400 block of lincoln road to find that flatbed truck lodged in what was once her parents formal living area. She shared these photos with Eyewitness News. I didnt know if my father was okay for 15 minutes. Reporter both of her parents were in the back of the house at the time of the crash and were uninjured. Two others were hurt. That flood bed truck barreled out of control following a collision with a car at intersection of lincoln road. One patient from the passenger vehicle was injured, and flown from the scene. Reporter driver of the truck was taken from the scene by ambulance. My sister called me. Reporter what did she said she said tractor trailer is in front of the mom and dads house. Reporter john also rushed to the house relieved to find them uninjured but heart broken by the home that has been lost. Come tuesday night into wednesday, we have snow in the tristate area. Ice jams on the Delaware River are more of a concern. Communities on the banks are worried about flooding. Its action news and the big story is a nasty combination of snow and ice. We have one. It looks like well get the other. Lets get the latest from meteorologist cecily tynan. The snow is coming from a clipper advancing to the midwest. Its a nuisance event that could cause problems for the wednesday morning event. The timing is the problem with this. The good news is, the Delaware River crested at 20 feet. Flood stage is 20 feet. Its slowly falling so we have minor flooding. Its a slow process.
