Those same dismal conditions will extend from the gulf coast to the great lakes and Central Texas has already taken an especially hard hit. A tornado ripped through Brian College station leaving residential areas in tatters and brought enough rain to cause widespread flooding that shut down major roadways and swamped city streets. In kansas city it was a dark and gloomy area over kauffman stadium. Not ideal for the baseball game between the royals and white sox. That was postponed but not for lack of optimism from some fans who stuck it out with that tiny hope they might see action. The scene in denver looked more like the middle of winter.
