There will be 20 states where minimum wage rises come january 1. So even though theres been consternation about how wages in general are not rising, wages are the part of this economic recovery that have the v not been there, the states are raising minimum wages in 20 states so people will have more money in their pockets. A man approached an nypd patrol car from the rear and fired into the window fatally wounding both officers. The secretary of Homeland Security was there with the Police Commissioner. This has got to be every cops worst nightmare. Weve all got to show support for the law enforcement, and this is a tough day for the nypd. The short time ago, family members and friends of one of the slain policemen, officer Raphael Ramos appeared at the vigil site. I hope and pray that we can reflect on this tragic loss of lives that have occurred so we can move forward and find an amicable path to a peaceful coexistence.
