In his parting speech Azad said that he counts himself among those fortunate people who did not go to Pakistan and are proud to be Hindustani Muslim. As the only Leader of Opposition, in the Rajya Sabha since 2014, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad retires on February 15, in less than a week s time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi bid him a teary farewell on the floor of the House today. On the other hand, Congress faces a dilemma as to who will be the next Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha?

Initially termed as death under ‘mysterious conditions’ on November 16, 2020, later police found out Rupakshi Sharma was murdered by her husband, Shanker Sharma. Taking cognizance of the incident, police started inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC and arrested her husband. Soon after the post mortem of the body was conducted which has proved the fact that her death was a murder. An FIR 10/2021 under section 302 IPC has been registered in Sunderbani police station. Police after two months have arrested Shanker, formally.
