Charlotte Mecklenburg Police say the scene is now safe for residents. They no longer need to shelter in place. But the shooting is exacted a heavy toll. Police in that ongoing News Conference confirming just moments aid officers were shot in this incident and that three Law Enforcement officers were killed. Of the surviving officers one of them is listed in critical condition. Of a u. S. Marshals service. But also members of Law Enforcement agencies.
