Gandhinagar, Dec 15 (IANS): Launching a scathing attack on the opposition parties for misleading the farmers over the three new agricultural laws, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reiterated his government s commitment towards the farmers and said that protecting their interests was its topmost priority. The PM spoke at a host of virtual ceremonies of projects in the Kutch region from Dhordo city in Gujarat on Tuesday.
Modi said, The present agricultural laws had been the demand of farmers since a long time. Even those who are in the opposition today were supporting these bills earlier when they were in power, but could never take a decision on them and pacified the farmers with false assurances. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of the world s largest renewable solar and wind energy 30,000 megawatts (MW) Ultra Mega Hybrid Park in Gujarat s Kutch. Besides, he also performed a virtual ground-breaking ceremony for four other desalination plants along the Arabian Sea coast. The plants will come up at Gundiyali in Kutch, Gandhvi in Devbhumi Dwarka, Ghogha in Bhavnagar, and Sutrapada in Somnath. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was present on the occasion.

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a one-day visit to Kutch in Gujarat, on Tuesday, during which he will lay the foundations stones for several projects and interact with farmers and artisans from the tent city of Dhordo in the district.
A government release on Monday said Modi will virtually lay the foundation stones for the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park at Khavda and a desalination plant in Mandvi along the Arabian Sea coast in the afternoon, in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

Gandhinagar, Dec 14 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his home state Gujarat on Tuesday to inaugurate the world s largest renewable solar and wind energy 30 thousand megawatts (MW) Ultra Mega Hybrid Park in Kutch and carry out ground breaking ceremonies of various other projects in Kutch. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will also be present in the events.
The PM be arriving at the tent city of Dhordo in Kutch. He will be flown directly to Dhordo from the Bhuj airport. He will inaugurate and carry out the groundbreaking ceremonies of a host of projects in Kutch from the Dhordo tent City from 2 pm onwards.
