Veteran Gujarati theatre personality Arvind Joshi, actor Sharman Joshi s father, died at Mumbai s Nanavati Hospital in the early hours of Friday because of age related ailments. He was 84. The late actor s sister-in-law, actress Sarita Joshi, told news agency PTI that he died around 3:30 am on Friday. A source told the news agency that Arvind Joshi was in the ICU for over a week because of chest infection and neurological issues: He was suffering neurological issues and had chest infection. Arvind Joshi passed away at the age of 84. Arvind was a noted Gujarati thespian.
Reportedly, Arvind Joshi died at around 3.30 am on Friday in a Mumbai hospital. The veteran actor was suffering from neurological problems and chest pain.
He was cremated at Vile Parle Crematorium in the presence of his family.
Arvind is survived by his wife and actor-children Sharman and
Manasi Joshi Roy.
Several celebrities took to social media to mourn the loss of Arvind. Actor Paresh Rawal tweeted, “Irreparable loss to Indian theatre; with grief we say goodbye to the noted actor Shri Arvind Joshi.
