Joe Biden should be the responsible adult in the room over Northern Ireland. He needs to see that the reckless EU is only interested in playing politics with peace in its ongoing petulance over Brexit

MEPs back legal action against UK over alleged breach of Northern Ireland Protocol
European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič said he hopes the issue can be resolved without further legal action, but it could lead to the UK having to defend its actions at the European Court of Justice.

The row began when the UK government changed how the Northern Ireland Protocol is being implemented, without EU agreement, by delaying the introduction of new sea border checks on food, parcels and pets.
It also moved unilaterally to ease the trade in horticultural products across from the UK to the province.
