Cubaj, Lahtinen Tabbed All-America Honorable Mention
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball’s Lorela Cubaj and Lotta-Maj Lahtinen were named 2021 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America honorable mention as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Saturday.
Cubaj, the ACC’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year, capped the 2020-21 season averaging a double-double behind 12.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She started all 26 games for the Yellow Jackets, helping Tech reach the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The All-ACC first team selection by both the Blue Ribbon Panel and head coaches, Cubaj posted 14 double-doubles on the season to become the first Yellow Jacket since 1991-92 to record 14 or more double-doubles in a season. The Terni, Italy native recorded 17 double-figure rebounding games and 19 double-figure scoring outings.
THE FLATS – No. 6 Georgia Tech baseball got another stellar gem from LHP
Brant Hurter to power it past Virginia, 6-5, on Thursday night at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.
Hurter (3-2) went 7.0 innings for the second-straight start for the Yellow Jackets (14-7, 11-5 ACC), allowing no runs and punching out eight, while walking none. Three runs were able to cross against the bullpen, however LHP

No. 23 Georgia Tech Culminates Regular Season Hosting No. 22 Notre Dame, Duke
THE FLATS –No. 23 Georgia Tech volleyball (12-3, 12-3 ACC) will conclude its regular season by hosting No. 22 Notre Dame and Duke for its final ACC pod on Thursday and Saturday in O’Keefe Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets and Fighting Irish (12-3, 11-3 ACC) will square off in a pivotal clash between two of the top three teams in the ACC on Thursday at 6 p.m. before Tech closes out the weekend by taking on Duke (9-11, 7-8 ACC) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Tech-Boston College Match Postponed
THE FLATS – The women’s tennis match between No. 11 Georgia Tech and visiting Boston College, originally scheduled for Sunday, April 4, has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.
The Yellow Jackets will play host to Syracuse on Friday, April 2 at 4 p.m. at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
