January 06, 2021 The Georgia Department of Revenue is shifting to a new system to process vehicle tags and titles. As a result, Fulton County tag offices will be shut down for all motor vehicle transactions from January 12 through January 19, 2021. Fulton County Tax Commissioner Arthur Ferdinand is asking that drivers with January renewals process these as early as possible and before the temporary shutdown. Online, in-person and kiosk transactions will be unavailable during that period.
