After opening earlier this year, Delicious Cafe & Catering launched its catering service on April 1 at 512 S. Beeline Highway, Suite 1 in the Twin Pines Shopping Center.
âBusiness for the cafe has been fantastic,â said co-owner/chef Adara Jones. âWeâre (catering) the shooting event at the (event center) this Saturday and a PCS event next month with more events already lined up between.â
The restaurant opened on Jan. 27 with a plan to add catering, which launched this month.
The catering menu features sandwiches like the Cole Cut, Mamaâs Favorite, Delicious Club, Dareâs Tuna Melt, Zâs Jalapeno Melt and the Rodeo Melt, salads like Dannieâs Apple-Cranberry, The Greek One, Itâs Not Pasta, Perfect for a BBQ, BLT in a Bowl and Chopped Sesame, soups like potato and sausage chili, and desserts like the Mogollon Monster, chocolate mousse, double chocolate banana muffins and cheesecake bites, which are all gluten-free.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. A Scottsdale man is facing serious charges including three counts of manslaughter after he allegedly caused a crash near Payson that killed three people, the Arizona Department of Public Safety says.
According to DPS, a four vehicle crash on April 16 on State Route 87, just northwest of Payson, resulted in the deaths of three people.
DPS says a white Ford pickup was going south on SR 87 when it moved left of center and into the northbound lane and sidewiped a Dodge pickup truck and a white Ford SUV that were going north. A second white Ford pickup was going south on SR 87 and crashed into the first Ford pickup that caused the crashes.

Three lives with deep roots to the community came to a tragic intersection Friday on the twisted two-lane road between Payson and Pine â prompting an outpouring of grief on social media. Georgia Burnside and Tish and Aden Morris died in a multi-vehicle accident around 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 16 on State Route 87 just north of the East Verde Estates turnoff.

âThree people died on that road between Payson and Pine last night and the town is crushed,â said Kathy Norton Coassolo Lovetro, who monitors a community Facebook page. âThey were local citizens of our sweet town, and now they are dead. Where am I going with this, hell, I donât know. I just feel so bad for the families and friends who are suffering and for the fact that in a heartbeat, lives can end, and lives can change.â
