The Havre de Grace Ice Festival Museum display, Heritage Corridor Sculpture Trail Program and the Havre de Grace Colored School Museum and Cultural Center's celebration of late Dr. George T. Stansbury, are among six projects being funded by the mini-grants.
The event began a yearlong celebration of George T. Stansbury, a 1939 graduate of the school who became a doctor and returned to Havre de Grace to serve Black residents who couldn't be treated at local hospitals.
