Oratory contest honors Langston Hughes, Havre de Grace Colored School

The event began a yearlong celebration of George T. Stansbury, a 1939 graduate of the school who became a doctor and returned to Havre de Grace to serve Black residents who couldn't be treated at local hospitals.
