A federal lawsuit alleging violation of Constitutional rights filed last month by Warren Mayor James Fouts against the city council, city clerk, Macomb County Clerk and Warren Election Commission was dismissed Tuesday by U.S. District Court Judge George Steeh.
A civil rights case filed in federal court by Warren Mayor James Fouts had a status conference Tuesday morning, but no date was set for oral arguments.
Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini filed a motion Aug. 9 to dismiss a federal lawsuit filed against him, the Warren CIty Council, Warren Election Commission and Warren City Clerk Sonja Buffa by Warren Mayor James Fouts on Aug. 2.
