suzanne malveaux live at the white house. where do these reports of $200 million a day come from? and how is the white house handling it? reporter: this is a report that comes out of india. it has been widely discredited. this comes from a single, unnamed source they say inside the indian government. robert gibbs says it s a widely wildly inflated talk. talking about the entourage. that is not true. 3,000 in the entourage, they say that is not true. $200 million a day is just not realistic. and the white house is pushing back very hard on this as well as the pentagon. we heard from jeff morell saying, look, the kinds of assets they re talking about going into this trip simply does not exist. take a listen. i will take the liberty this time of dismissing it. it s absolutely absurd that somehow we are deploying 10% of the navy, some 34 ships and an aircraft carrier in support of the president s trip to asia. that s comical. nothing close to that is being done. so robert
