We are the first such center within the walls of a major museum in the United States, and its about time. She is the postdoctoral fellow in womens history in public history here at New York Historical. She is a fantastic scholar, human being, and colleague and i am so glad they are with us at an important moment. I also want to do a special shout out to the womens foundation, four years ago they melon foundation, four years ago they gave us a giant vote of confidence and a lovely grant to get the center up and running. Even notice this wind last night. If you didnt know advertise it last night, youre going to not notice it tonight. And were also seeing despite this red flag warning, an onshore flow at the surface. We have fog at the coast, and that is good news, generally. Temperatures are running 25 to 30 degrees cooler than last night at this time. This is the winds, right . See the areas . Thats the north wind essentially. Thats this afternoon. See the fog come back in. And then watch this. Thats onshore flow. This is about 5 00 tomorrow morning. Thats the red flag warning, but look at the wind speeds in the north bay. 24 miles an hour. Its not going to be a or shouldnt be a robust overnight like we had last night. So the red flag warning is up. The hills above 1,000 feet. But it does not look as strong as last night. So if you felt good about last night where you lived, youll feel better about tonight. Change. Nearly 30 degrees cooler in some spots than it was yesterday. Look at santa rosa. Even as temperatures dropped, the winds are picking up intensity and we have a red flag warning in effect for all the Higher Elevations in the bay area until 8 00 tomorrow morning. The relative humidity is dangerously low as the winds intensify with wind speeds, gusts in the Higher Elevations up to 32 miles an hour in st. Helena. 17 miles an hour at atlas peak. And we have a wind advisory for virtually all the Higher Elevations. Now we go to drew tuma. Reporter you can see the sky behind me. It has that yellow hue once again as the sun is setting and we will find that sunset with the yellow orange sky like it was early this morning when the sun was rising. Lets look at where all the smoke was coming from. You can see the august complex fires to our north. Well add the winds to the satellite picture were seeing and the winds that we have, those offshore gusts that had developed and prompted the red

I know its a quick turnaround but i appreciate everybody bearing with us in getting back for the rest of the discussions. It is an honor to introduce the next panel. I think it is really critical. The discussion they will have is really a testament to the leadership that these women have exhibited. The title of the panel is leading with principal i will welcome them to the stage. Speaking up for the truth. I think that is easier said than done a lot of times particularly when you are in the middle of a battle and you are serving in positions of government. You want to serve. You want to serve the country and all three of these women have done this.
