A primary school governing body chairperson accused of murder is expected to appear in the Emalahleni Magistrate s Court today, 10 May.
A school governing body chairperson will appear in the Emalahleni Magistrate’s court today, 10 May, for allegedly stabbing a man to death during a school meeting.
According to police, the chairperson is accused of murdering a 22-year-old man during a school meeting that was held in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga on Friday, 7 May.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi confirmed that a 22-year-old man died in the attack.
Another taxi boss killed
Armed men gunned down a 62-year-old taxi owner in Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga on Wednesday.
According to police, the taxi owner and his friend were walking a few meters away from his home when a group of four armed men driving a white BMW drove by and fired shots , provincial police spokesman Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said on Friday.
The attackers made a u-turn and returned to the scene to ensure that the taxi owner was dead, Hlathi added. They reportedly fired more shots at the victim who was already lying on the ground, and fled the scene thereafter.

SERIAL rapist Philip Mathonsi (36) was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment by the Boschfontein Regional Court in Mpumalanga on Thursday, 6 May.
The court heard how the residents, more especially women of Marlothpark near Komatipoort, lived in fear as Mathonsi reportedly robbed and raped them.
These incidents were recorded between the period of 2016 and 2017. Mathonsi would normally wait until it was dark before preying on his victims.
It is said that on 11 September 2016, Mathonsi broke into a house in Marloth Park where he attacked and raped a 63-year-old gogo and then fled.
