Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi deserves to be the Indian National Congress s (INC) Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2024 general elections.

Our Reporter Dimapur, June 28 (EMN): Officials of the National People’s Party (NPP) along with district unit presidents on Tuesday declared mass resignation from the party with immediate effect citing loss of faith in the state president’s leadership. Addressing a press conference at Hotel Saramati on Tuesday, Limanuksung Longkumer, General Secretary-Organisation, NPP, Nagaland state, stated that due to ‘ongoing circumstances’, they were rendering mass resignation from the primary and active membership of the party. “Being one of the founding members of the party, unfortunately I express my deepest regret on being a member as the party failed to control its functionaries,” he said. On Jawaharlal Nehru’s 58th death anniversary, Congress leaders arrived at Shanti Vana to pay their tributes. Rahul Gandhi also took to Twitter to say that Nehru’s vision and ideas are relevant even today.
