With the Kingdom set to host the ASEAN Summit and related meetings from November 10-13, members of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces’ (RCAF) Brigade 70 will be deployed to Phnom Penh International Airport to ensure the safety of delegates.
General Mao Sophan, commander of Brigade 70, said the unit was prepared to obey the orders of the head of the government, the Ministry of National Defence, the command of the army's infantry, and was implanting plans to further train its officers and soldiers.
