Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel kicks off their 2023 harness racing season Sunday (April 16), with familiar names returning for the 30-day meeting and a new-look wagering menu and handicapping resources in place for horseplayers.
The first ever spring harness season at Shenandoah Downs kicked off Saturday on a warm but blustery afternoon as local Woodstock, Virginia resident trainer Betsy Brown reached the winner's circle in the initial race with Terrys Watching runner-up in the 2022 Virginia Breeder's Two-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Trot Championship.
All divisions of two-year-olds hit the track at Dover Downs on Thursday night (Nov. 3) for the Matron Stakes, with a single non-wagering dash and three finals on the wagering card.
A live video stream will be available here for the first night of the 2022 Breeders Crown championship finals as Woodbine Mohawk Park hosts harness racing's best two-year-olds on Friday (Oct. 28).
