Following up a night freshman photo finishes on Thursday, the three-year-olds took their turn in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots semi-finals on Friday, Sept. 22 at Woodbine Mohawk Park and the favourites ran the show.
After Matthew Trelford made his first career training start last week with Lastkickathecan and took home a fourth place finish, the duo came back on Monday (Aug. 21) at Woodbine Mohawk Park to give Trelford his first training win.

The Thursday evening (June 1) card at Woodbine Mohawk Park featured three $21,800 divisions of the first leg of the Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Grassroots for three-year-old trotting fillies as well as an undercard highlighted by a Pop Up Series for fillies and mares.
