BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Mayor-President, East Baton Rouge Parish School System Superintendent Dr. Sito Narcisse, and others announced on Monday, May 3, the launch of vaccine initiatives targeting high school students.
Vaccinate Before You Graduate and Bring Back School Fun aim to get eligible high school students vaccinated. Students 16 years of age and older will have the opportunity to receive the Pfizer vaccine at participating schools in East Baton Rouge Parish with the consent of their parents or guardians.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana officials, with help from FEMA, are preparing to open a mass vaccination site in Baton Rouge, La.
The mass vaccination site will be at Bon Carre at 7359 Florida Blvd.
It is scheduled to open on Friday, April 16, at 8 a.m. and will be open six days a week for eight weeks.
