The names of the two women who jumped from the burning building, have been released according to the sheriffs office, 19 year old alanna gotto of sloan. Considered armed and dangerous, after assaulting a Police Officer in knox county yesterday. Authorities were out late last night in pursuit of the man. Yesterday around 1 pm in niobrara nebraska, an officer attempted to arrest 25 year old David Hoffman of santee. Thats when authorities say, hoffman struggled with the officer and disarmed him. Once hoffman secured the weapon he pointed the gun at the officer and made an escape to the bank of the niobrara river. The Knox County Sheriffs Office says Police Conducted a search until about 10 last night. And the manhunt is still going. Anyone with information on his wearabouts are urged to Contact Police immiately. Around 720 last night, the Sheriffs Office got word of a missing plane scheduled to land at sioux Gateway Airport th single engine plane, originating from columbia missouri, was diverted due to dense fog and failed to notify the airport if it had landed. Emergency crews responded to the crash site just outside of pender the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. No other passengers were believed to be in the plane. Rsh weather conditions hindered the search of the crash and the ntsb says weather will be one of the things theyll be we have very limited information right now about the the flightand the accident but we have dispatched an scene and thats one looking at.
