Around 720 last night, the Sheriffs Office got word of a missing plane scheduled to land at sioux Gateway Airport th single engine plane, originating from columbia missouri, was diverted due to dense fog and failed to notify the airport if it had landed. Emergency crews responded to the crash site just outside of pender the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. No other passengers were believed to be in the plane.
