Look at still winds across the region all the smoke is going to start start to settle down in the bay and that means worsening air quality likely over the next couple of days that smoke is of being pushed anywhere because winds have calmed down so much right now were in the 50s and 60s for your current temperatures with a word in oakland at 63. Concord and Fairfield Beach at 58 while dublin and livermore 57 to kick off this morning. As we look at wind speeds across the bay area you see how calm things are that northerly flow that brought us the smoke, its all but gone at this point. Now we just have a weak onshore. Through was just yellow and orange hues thats all that we saw pretty much all day long yesterday for most of the bay area now the big question everyone is asking is will it look like that again today well heres a live look from your berkeley cam right here and you can obviously still see that we do have an orange glow to it out there whether that were in just as intense as yesterday remains to be seen. But what we will see is a lot of smoke out there so we are going to have an impact with at least hazy and darker skies than usual as of right now we are seeing poor air quality for much of the north bay in the east bay, still some moderate conditions holding on a little bit closer to the coast in fact are impact as yesterday as compared is pretty similar. We have a thin marine layer just as we did yesterday for parts of the bay. Today, youre going to see a reenactment of the funeral of Abraham Lincoln in springfield 100 50 years ago. It started on the square downtown. It will take probably a half an hour for the procession to reach Oak Ridge Cemetery, which is on the north side of springfield. That procession will be a reconstruction or reenactment of lincolns actual funeral. There will be a number of divisions, with reenactors in those divisions. You will see a replication of the funeral hearse that was put together by a local funeral home. I believe you are going to see a horse, which would have in Abraham Lincolns horse, bob led by an africanamerican henry brown, coming into the cemetery. And then in back of me is the receiving vault at Oak Ridge Cemetery. It is there that lincolns body as well as his son with his son, willie, were placed at the time of the lincoln funeral. W
