Used cell phone may have cost a man his life. We have learned that a man was killed at a gas station at east 14th street and 159th avenue in san leandro. We are told the gas station was a meeting spot for two people making a deal to sell a used phone. But for some reason, one of the two pulled a weapon and shot the other. The gunman took off. We dont know yet if the person killed was buying or selling the phone. It has been more than a month since the wildfires devastated parts of the north bay and now with the hollands approaching many holidays approaching many fire victims still have no place to call home.
