ARLINGTON, VA Positivity rates for COVID-19 testing the Arlington Health District have been on the decline since January, when the county posted a 13.4 percent positivity rate on Jan. 2. Virginia Department of Health reported Thursday that Arlington had the lowest positivity rate for COVID-19 testing since early October. VDH reported that a total of 266,819 COVID-19 tests have been taken in Arlington, with a 3.7 percent positivity rate. That matches the 3.7 percent recorded on Oct. 9 and is 0.1 percent higher than the 3.6 percent recorded on Oct. 7.
