ARLINGTON, VA Positivity rates for COVID-19 testing the Arlington Health District have been on the decline since January, when the county posted a 13.4 percent positivity rate on Jan. 2. Virginia Department of Health reported Thursday that Arlington had the lowest positivity rate for COVID-19 testing since early October. VDH reported that a total of 266,819 COVID-19 tests have been taken in Arlington, with a 3.7 percent positivity rate. That matches the 3.7 percent recorded on Oct. 9 and is 0.1 percent higher than the 3.6 percent recorded on Oct. 7.

Pretty soon the vaccine is going to be available for everyone, so we re going to be able to make that offer, said CVC co-chair Nancy White. People should all get registered so that when their time comes they can be called and they can get the vaccine.
