New Delhi: In a good move, North Delhi Municipal Corporation has tied up with at least 25 restaurants/eateries as garbage cafes to manage plastic waste in areas under New Delhi s Karol Bagh zone.
On Saturday, at least five of them have been inaugurated at different places.
What can residents do?
The residents at these places can get refreshments/one meal for free after providing one-kilogram plastic. According to the
Times of India report, “We have tied up with a company, which will lift the plastic collected by these restaurants and eateries for further recycling. This will ensure end-to-end recycling of plastic waste and reducing garbage on the road , as per north corporation official.
