Megalobox Sequel Confirms Release Date with New Trailer Megalobox has confirmed the release date for its new sequel series! Following the release of its first season a couple of years ago, Megalobox series. With this time jump comes a whole new look for Gearless Joe and the rest of the cast of characters returning for the second round. Officially titled as Megalobox 2: Nomad, this sequel series has confirmed it will be releasing April 4th in Japan. Funimation will be streaming the sequel series upon its release in Japan, but it s currently unconfirmed whether or not this includes a SimulDub for the new slate of episodes. What is confirmed, however, is the new trailer released for the series that features English subtitles as well. Check it out in the video above!

Megalobox Second Anime Season Sets Premiere With New Promo & Funimation Pickup

The new season is going under the name Megalobox 2: Nomad and we learned previously that Ayumi Kurashima replacing Hiroshi Shimizu as the character designer but the other main parts that we cover remain the same. Now, the official site has updated with the drop of a new promotional video you can see below that also reveals an April 4th, 2021 debut. A new key visual was also revealed as well as Funimation confirming that they’ll be streaming the series for the season whereas Crunchyroll streamed the first.

It’s been largely quiet since then but a new update landed with a promotional trailer for  Megalobox 2: Nomad. The new season is set for an April 2021 debut and we have the promo below along with the new key visual for it. The changes for this one has Ayumi Kurashima replacing Hiroshi Shimizu as the character designer but the other main parts that we cover remain the same. The series was directed by You Moriyama with scripts coming from Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima. It was animated at TMS Entertainment.
