New deaths reported across tri-county… latest case information for Mason, Meigs, Gallia
OHIO VALLEY New coronavirus-related deaths were reported across the tri-county region on Wednesday.
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported a new death in the 80+ age range on Wednesday for Gallia County, as well as 28 new cases.
The Mason County Health Department reported the death of a female in the 70-79 age range on Wednesday, as well as 17 new cases.
On Wednesday, ODH reported one additional death that was not in the Meigs County Health Department’s report on Tuesday.

New death reported in Mason… 45 new cases reported in tri-county

OHIO VALLEY One new death and 45 new cases were reported throughout the tri-county region on Tuesday.
The Mason County Health Department reported an additional death on Tuesday a male in the 60-69 year age range. This makes 14 total deaths in the county due to COVID-19. The health department also reported 12 new cases.
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday in Gallia County, making 1,494 total cases since March.
The Meigs County Health Department reported eight new of COVID-19 on Tuesday. There are currently 83 active cases in the county.
New death reported in Gallia… Over 100 new cases reported in tri-county since Friday

OHIO VALLEY One new COVID-19 related death was reported in the tri-county region on Monday with over 100 total new cases reported over the weekend.
One new death, a person in the 60-69 age range, was reported in Gallia County, according to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). There were 51 new cases reported since Friday and two new hospitalizations.
The Mason County Health Department reported a total of 32 new cases since Friday as part of Monday’s update.
The Meigs County Health Department reported 21 total new cases (20 confirmed, 1 probable), as well as 49 new recovered cases and two new hospitalizations on Monday.
COVID-19 vaccine to arrive in Gallia… Health Department expects shipment next week

GALLIPOLIS The Gallia County Health Department is preparing to receive its first shipment of COVID-19 vaccine.
Tyler Schweickart with the health department, told the
Tribune he expects the Moderna vaccine to arrive next week. This week, Schweickart said two freezers to help eventually store the Pifizer vaccine arrived as well.
The health department has shared its initial plan of distribution for those agencies that fall under Phase 1A.
COVID-19 deaths reported in Gallia County … Latest case data for Gallia, Mason and Meigs

OHIO VALLEY Three COVID-19 deaths were reported in Gallia County on Friday as new cases rose by double digits in Gallia, Mason and Meigs Counties.
The Gallia County Health Department reported three new COVID-19 deaths, 11 new cases and one new hospitalization on Friday. Two of the new deaths are in the 70-79 age range and one new death was in the 80-plus age range.
The Mason County Health Department reported 15 new cases on Friday and a total of 135 active cases.
The Meigs County Health Department reported 16 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the active case total to 135 cases.
