On behalf of all the Lions clubs in your region, we wish a Merry Christmas to the readers of the Jamestown Sun.
Did you know that our purpose is to serve others in our communities? Our motto is Where there is a need, there is a Lion.
For example, the Jamestown Lions completed an essential blood drive, delivered Meals on Wheels and donated over $2,900 to local charities.
The Kulm Lions are preparing Christmas bags for the children in their town and, donating over $1,000 to the food pantry. Ellendale Lions will soon be delivering Christmas wreaths and greenery to raise funds to help charitable groups. Wing Lions are preparing gift bags for Santa Claus Day for local children. Gackle Lions delivered food packages to the elderly and The Gackle Care Center.
