and jimmy, i can t i see the show as a real reclamation of our place in this country, it s not a surprise that were telling the story on broadway. and i think anybody that was a filipino knows that we throw the best parties, it s never ending! there is food for everybody. and so the fact that we are throwing the biggest party on broadway and that everybody is invited, you never get out that subway and you walk to the theater, and i look at that sign and anyone that filipino s is about the flag? what are they doing? i just still get chills. doing? and then i think to myself, we are mainstream. we ve always been mainstream filipinos. and i can t believe so, it s interesting because when we came on board, i said how do we get gaby wilson? how do we get her?
