Jose Police Officers in a gun battle with a suspect. The shootout at an Extended Stay Hotel along san ignacio avenue in south san jose left a suspect and one of the officers in the hospital, both with life threatening injuries. The streets around the extended stay motel remain closed at this hour, which is impacting traffic. This, as investigators continue processing the scene, a scene that saw two Police Officers and one suspect all shot. The San Jose Police say a disturbance call brought officers here thursday night to the motel on san ignacio and bernal. That was around 1030 in the evening, according to police.
