The criminal negligence trial of Ann Senack took a dramatic turn when it adjourned on April 30 with Crown prosecutors saying they needed to re-evaluate the “fabric” of the case against Senack, the former bartender accused of over-serving youths at Shooters Bar & Grill in October 2017 prior to a fatal crash involving four local hockey players.
When the matter resumed in Renfrew court Thursday, Crown attorney Jeffery Richardson informed the court Senack would be entering into a peace bond agreement, bringing an abrupt end to her trial on criminal negligence in the deaths of 18-year-olds Brandon Hanniman and Alexander Paquette.
