WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Judge Woody Gossom Jr. spoke at the Wichita County Court house on Tuesday about reopening small bars to half capacity in the Wichita Falls area.
The Wichita County Judge better defined “small bars” by using the Frye-Vaughn Post 264, American Legion in Burkburnett as an example. While this bar is a big building, Gossom said the regular customers served are about 25 people.
The judge urged county residents to follow instructions set forth by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) has temporarily suspended the liquor licenses of Houston clubs Clé, Spire and Grooves for violating the state s COVID-19 restrictions.
In a press release, the TABC said the suspensions are the result of inspections by their agents conducted over the weekend. All three businesses are accused of violating Gov. Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-32, which requires businesses which sell alcohol for on-premise consumption to comply with capacity limits as well as social distancing and facial covering requirements, the release stated.
