G20 News: The authority said that the decision has been taken after it received reports that foreign nationals, dignitaries and officials visiting India for the global summit are facing difficulties in obtaining mobile connections as they are unable to provide an alternate number on which they can receive an OTP as a signature for the D-KYC process.
The unchecked population of monkeys has led to their ever-increasing numbers across the city, including in New Delhi areas (Lutyens Delhi), with the animals loitering around and often attacking and biting people. NDMC vice chairman Satish Upadhyay said the civic body will deploy 30-40 trained persons who can mimic langur voice to scare away the monkeys.
As part of the emergency plan for G20 Summit 2023, teams with dedicated medical staff will be deployed round-the-clock to cater for any medical assistance required by the visiting delegates.
