Planning in advance is important, so let s go ahead and demand more run for a handful of players next season, shall we?
Plenty of youngsters can fall under this umbrella. The selections that follow are by no means the only candidates. The field of possibilities was narrowed by focusing on those who wrapped their age-22-or-younger seasons who averaged fewer than 20 minutes per game on the year.
Late-season usage increases were taken into account. Players who saw a bunch of extra floor time for a large chunk of the year, like Malachi Flynn and Kira Lewis Jr., were bounced from consideration. Anyone who had their season derailed by injuries, such as Killian Hayes, was given the same treatment.
Spurs RFA and FA decisions’ predictions. By Etie53 on May 13, 2021, 6:05am CDT +
This offseason, 8 of the Spurs player will be either FA or RFA. The team is struggling to make the playoff for the second season in a row but with Pop still at the helm, they will probably continue to try to reach them next season. That goal will impact the decision on those 8 players.
To make those predictions, I try to answer the following questions:
What does the player wants?
Does the Spurs need that player?
Does other NBA team need/wants that player?
Can the Spurs pay that player?

In a record-tying night, the 76ers 121-90 win pushed the Thunder’s losing streak to 14 games, tying a franchise record set in the 2008-09 season.
The good news is that the Detroit Pistons won their game against the Trae-less Atlanta Hawks, which means that the Thunder are now just 1.5 games back from the third-worst record in the NBA.
Getting in the top three of the lottery will be crucial because all three teams have the same odds of landing the first overall pick (14%).

Oshae Brissett has impressed during his two 10-day contracts with the Pacers, so the team is taking him off the market. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the 22-year-old forward, who earned his first career start against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, has agreed to a three-year deal to remain with the Pacers, though specifics of the contract aren’t yet known.
Given the long list of injuries the team is currently weathering, the signing doesn’t exactly come as a big surprise for a team in a bind, but Brissett’s versatility was arguably worth a longer look regardless. On Monday night alone, the former Mad Ant displayed the ability to switch across positions while also pinch-hitting at the five, drawing a charge, defending well in the gaps, and shooting 3-of-5 from deep.
