Clearing up the Grizzlies logjam

If you haven’t noticed lately, the Memphis Grizzlies have a very deep roster.
Perhaps, once healthy, the deepest in team history.
There are a lot of variables that play in to that idea. First, assuming that Justise Winslow will be able to remain healthy enough to add his versatility to the Grizzlies feels lofty at this stage of the season. It may not be possible for him to provide that skill set to that degree at this point. It also means that you likely expect Desmond Bane and Xavier Tillman to avoid the rookie wall and continue to contribute to this Grizzlies team at a high level. They are both doing things beyond what was thought possible for them at this stage of their NBA careers - can that be maintained? Beyond those three, anticipating grand success in a larger role for the likes of John Konchar and even Killian Tillie (who was conspicuous by his absence from the G-League Bubble roster for the Memphis Hustle) seems like a

THE BIG THREE DEBUT! KEVIN DURANT, KYRIE IRVING AND JAMES HARDEN SCORE A COMBINED 96 POINTS!! HARDEN HAS A TRIPLE DOUBLE!!!
And they lost.
It was a heartbreaker in Cleveland. Brooklyn’s growing pains were evident (and have to be expected) as the Nets fell to the Cavaliers, 147-135, in double overtime. With the loss, Brooklyn drops to 9-7 on the season while Cleveland improves to 7-7.
Despite the Nets big debut, the game was the Colin Sexton Show. The last pick from the Celtics trade (who was traded to the Cavs for Irving) finished with 42 points including the first seven points of the second overtime, dagger after dagger.

What should be the goals for the Wizards after a bad start, Thomas Bryant’s injury, postponed games, Russell Westbrook’s injury etc.? How do you turn the season into a positive? (WhyNotTyler)
John Morrow: It’s early enough in the season for the goal to remain making the playoffs. I personally think getting the 6 seed and avoiding the play-in games is a serious long shot but it’s still very early. The difference, hopefully, between this Wizards team and the previous ones that were aiming to contend is that we should not see trades to only prioritize making the playoffs.
