Montgomery County Animal Services to Fully Reopen Sunday
Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC) announced in a statement that it is fully reopening its facility in Derwood on June 20.
Once MCASAC is back open, people will be welcome to visit the facility and view the animals in the shelter. The hours of operation will be the same as they were pre-COVID-19: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday the facility is open noon to 7 p.m.; on Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m.; and the facility is closed on Wednesdays.
Anyone interested in adopting a pet should review MCASAC’s pre-adoption checklist before visiting the shelter or submitting an adoption questionnaire.
