that he did win the 2020 election. so, either way he kind of has fertile ground to keep his position. to hold that front runner position. i don t see that changing anytime soon. jennifer, we are a month out from the first republican debate. it s still unclear whether trump will be on that stage. especially because he refuses to commit to supporting whoever the eventual nominee is, if it is not him. if the current front-runner isn t part of the first debates, how does that undermine the credibility of the republican national committee? . i don t think that s what you re going to. say i thought you re going to ask me how does it undermine trump. my answer would ve been, it undermines the rnc. it undermines it s a great deal. it shows that they don t have the, they don t have the organization under control. they don t have candidates who
back. we don t know what crime he could be charged with. we don t know if he is going to be charged with a crime, but he is currently sitting in front runner status for the republican nominee. he s somebody who is seeking the white house again. so this i think is a case that is very easy for americans to understand. he s obviously facing scrutiny around january 6th scrutiny around the election in georgia, for instance. but this is a case involving the nation s top secret is very easy, i think for average americans understand, and it s sort of hard to kind of message is way out of, i think so. we ll see how this unfolds as ilott was talking about. i think it s unfolding much more quickly than most of us thought it would. and i think you know donald trump. as in previous iterations of cases been sort of able to slow things down. but here we see things playing out very quickly with this case and then other cases, also moving along fairly rapidly as again he s trying to establish himself a
