Now, 77 years later, workers are bringing part of it down. Happening now, the work has begun to get rid of the long standing bridge. Alex savidge got a closeup look at the work and joins us live. Right now, up above us, there are crews busy at work and they are tearing apart a portion of the upper deck. While theres a lot of heavy machinery busy and working up there on the upper deck, drivers coming across the new bay bridge probably wont even notice whats going on.
