KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Wednesday, the City of Kalamazoo issued a Boil Water Advisory for Pierce Avenue and some surrounding areas.
According to officials, the advisory has been issued due to a repair of a water main leak. The affected areas are listed as follows:
Pierce Avenue â From South Westnedge Avenue (western boundary) to South Rose Street (eastern boundary), both sides of street. Does NOT include northwest and southwest corners of Pierce Avenue and South Rose Street.
Garfield Avenue â Only the southwest corner of Garfield Avenue and South Park Street.
South Park Street â Includes the following: the northwest, southwest, and southeast corners of South Park Street and Pierce Avenue.

KALAMAZOO, MI A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for residents in the area of Pierce Avenue.
The city of Kalamazoo is in the process of repairing a water main leak on Pierce Avenue that resulted in a temporary loss of pressure on Jan. 13, the city said in a news release.
A precautionary boil water advisory is being issued in cooperation with the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department for all water intended for drinking or ingestion or any consumptive uses within the affected area (see provided map), including:
